All Executive Committee Meetings and Regular Meetings of Council are hosted in Council Chambers, in the Lloyd E. Matheson Building and are open for the public to attend. The meetings are also streamed on YouTube.

If you require live closed-captioning during meetings, please follow the instructions below that fit your viewing medium:
Use Live Caption in Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right corner of the menu, click on the three vertical dots, then select Settings from the menu.
- Once the Settings page has opened, from the side menu, select Accessibility.
- From the Accessibility module, toggle Live Caption to the ON position (it will turn blue).
Change Live Caption settings in Android
- On your device, open Settings > Sound > Live Caption.
- Ensure Live Caption is turned ON.
Council gallery is accessible to wheelchairs and is on one level with no steps.
Speaking podium is adjustable.
Hearing induction loop devices are available in Council Chambers.
This system works through a handheld device where the sounds from the microphones are picked up and provided to the user through their hearing aid. The handheld device can be used by a person with a hearing aid by wearing the loop around their neck and turning on the device. We also have earbuds available for people who may struggle to hear but don’t have a hearing aid. For the earbuds, input the headphone jack into the handheld device and turn on.
