Recreation Attendant

The East Hants Sportsplex is a vibrant hub for sports, recreation and community events. Our facility features two arena ice pads, three year-round artificial turf fields, a Café, and three versatile multi-purpose rooms ready to host a wide range of activities. Join our dedicated team of experts in sports, recreation, customer service, hospitality, and facility operations, in an exciting community-focused environment.

We are recruiting for Recreation Attendants to join our team for the upcoming fall/winter season.  Our Recreation Attendants provide customer service support at the front desk and serve food and beverages to patrons of the café.

What you can offer:

• Past experience in customer service, food and beverage service, or a willingness to learn.
• Experience with point-of sale software would be an asset.
• Current WHMIS, CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to successfully complete training provided.
• Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry check.
• You are available to work up to 20 hours per week, around the operational requirements of a sports facility, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• 19+ years of age to meet licensing requirements of the café.

Hourly rate: $15.20 p/hour, up to 20 hours per week
